The Thalian Hall Center for the Performing Arts, located in a renovated historic building in Wilmington's downtown, is one of the oldest theaters in the US. Performances range from ballets and plays to musical events and film festivals. In 2015, Thalian Hall put on over 250 shows.
Tour the USS North Carolina Battleship
Moored across the river from Downtown Wilmington, the NC Battleship offers guided tours of the WWII era-ship, featuring oral story-telling, historic photographs, and a collection of mementos. You'll even get to steer the ship!
